Event Description

EXHIBITION EXTENDED!

This new exhibition uses illustration to examine the history of Tudor Fashion. Looking at fabrics, sewing techniques and how different garments were worn, this exhibition uses fashion as a way of looking at what life was like during the Tudor period.

Designed with younger audiences in mind, this engaging exhibition encourages you to think about what your life might have been like in Tudor times! Don’t miss our dressing up clothes in the adjacent room!

All illustrations and content have been created by Whitehall Historic House Volunteer, Luciola Pires. Luci is a Brazilian illustrator based in London, who recently graduated from her Master’s in Illustration from the Falmouth University and has a background in studying fashion history. This is her debut exhibition, designed specifically for Whitehall Historic House. You can see more of Luci’s work here: https://www.luciolapires.com/
