Event Description

Remedial conservation is the process of cleaning and making sensitive repairs to objects; strengthening and making them more stable and more able to withstand display and handling. Join us for a 45 minute talk with volunteer paper conservator Joyce Brown who will talk about her many years undertaking remedial paper conservation at Sutton and other repositories in London.

This illustrated talk with examples from the archive will take place in the local studies and archive search room at Sutton Library.
