Event Description
Meera Purton, Team Manager from the Sutton Transitions Team, will attend to discuss issues and support for young people transitioning into adulthood.
Welcome all parents and carers of young people with SEND who want to spend some time with other parents over a relaxing coffee in our PFA Hub. We run monthly coffee mornings on Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the PFA Hub, Sutton Life Centre. The coffee mornings are a chance for parents to come together to share experiences, knowledge and expertise, and to build new friendships and support networks. There will also be regular guests, chosen by parents and carers, to provide information and advice on all issues and opportunities in preparing for adulthood.
The coffee mornings are facilitated by a parent of a young adult who has supported her child with SEND into adulthood, and Suzy Mullally, the practice lead for the PFA Hub.
If you want to know anything about preparation for adulthood, regardless of your child's current age, or if you want to get to know some other parents and share experiences, please book and come along!
