Looking for a calm, supportive space designed with your child’s needs in mind?
The Sensory Room at the Carshalton Family Hub offers a safe, welcoming environment specially suited for children with SEND and their families. With gentle lighting, soothing sounds, and interactive sensory equipment, it’s a space where your child can feel comfortable, engaged, and free to explore at their own pace.
Benefits of our sensory room:
Helps reduce anxiety and overwhelm, supports emotional regulation and calming, encourages communication and interaction, builds confidence through safe exploration and provides a peaceful space to relax and reset.
45-minute sessions available
Exclusive use – one family at a time
Advance booking required
We kindly request limiting sessions to one per week per family to ensure access for multiple families across the borough.
