Dawn Chorus - Beddington Big Day

Start the day like no other by immersing yourself in the calls of the wild at dawn on Beddington Farmlands.

Join the Beddington Farmlands Bird Group and the Farmland Warden for a day of events - The Beddington Big Day. This dawn chorus walk is the first of six site tours celebrating the biodiversity of this unique London Nature Reserve. On this tour we will make our way slowly through the site taking in the sounds of resident and summer migrants. 

Beddington Farmlands is a ‘work in progress’ so attendees must be confident on their feet and wear sturdy shoes as the terrain is uneven and broken in many places. Pumps, flip flops etc will be turned away. It can get cold at the top so dress warmly and appropriately for the weather conditions. No facilities, No under 18s. 

The meeting location will be Mile Road Gate at the mid point of the Farmlands Permissive Path - ///spray.park.spider. Do not head to the Beddington Park Pavillion.
