Join Jeff from SUTTONfx, one year on from the wonderful talk on the life of Dr George Rice, to learn about Dr. Rice’s extraordinary life and impact, and how this is being recognised through a local community garden project.

Dr George Rice was an African-American born in 1848 who had an extraordinary life. Dr. Rice worked and lived in Sutton for over 50 years until his death in 1935, holding many positions, including chief public vaccinator for Sutton, Cheam and Carshalton.
