Event Description

Experiment with the magic of Cyanotype Photography, a camera-less technique that involves laying an object on paper coated with a solution and then exposing it to UV light and washing with water to create beautiful blue tinted images. This hands-on experience will allow you to explore and create your very own Cyanotype images using pre-prepared materials and natural objects. Bring small objects connected to your own celebrations or simply pick up some leaves and branches and we will show you how to do the rest.

The artworks created during this workshop will be digitised and may form a part of Threads of Light, an immersive installation that will take place at Sutton Central Library in January 2024.
