Explore the hidden wonders of the city’s natural world with acclaimed author and nature writer Lev Parikian as he delves
into the fascinating subject of urban nature. In this engaging talk, Lev will share insights from his book Light Rains Sometimes Fall, a beautifully observed chronicle of the ordinary yet extraordinary nature that surrounds us in urban environments.

Lev is the author of six books. He writes for the Guardian’s Country Diary, and has reviewed for the Times Literary
Supplement and written features for Bird Watching magazine.
