Event Concluded

Event Description

Have you ever thought about how strong and brave butterflies are? Join local storyteller Posey Furnish for a creative arts workshop to help your child discover their own inner strength through the beauty and power of butterflies. Using stories and a creative activity, this workshop will explore what it means to be resilient and how to find emotional strength and confidence in yourself.

Participants will be taught a self-calming technique called “The Butterfly Hug”, that can help children process their emotions and respond to overwhelming feelings or hard situations.

Let your child spread their wings and soar!
