Event Description

This January, we are delighted to celebrate Tamil Heritage Month with a special community event taking place in Sutton Central Library on Saturday 31st January, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Tamil Heritage Month is a time to recognise and honour the rich history, language, culture, and contributions of Tamil communities around the world. It is also an opportunity to come together, share stories, and celebrate the traditions that continue to shape our collective identity.

The event will be a welcoming and inclusive afternoon designed for people of all ages and backgrounds. Attendees can look forward to an engaging programme that highlights Tamil culture, heritage, and creativity, while creating space for learning, conversation, and community connection.

Whether you are part of the Tamil community or simply interested in learning more, this event offers a meaningful way to engage with Tamil heritage during this special month.

We warmly invite local residents, families, and community members to join us on 31st January and be part of this celebration. Together, we can honour the past, celebrate the present, and inspire future generations.
