Event Description

At this free family drop-in workshop, children will learn about and draw historic ships, seafarers and sea monsters! Then they'll craft customisable card ships and monsters to take home.

Local arts educator Mark Pembrey will be present throughout the session. Family participation is encouraged and parents/guardians are asked to stay with their children while they draw and craft.

No booking required. Just turn up.

This workshop is provided as part of Quickdraw History Comics, a programme of historically-themed comic drawing workshops at Whitehall Historic House, supported by the London Borough of Sutton Neighbourhood Fund. Look out for more free Quickdraw History Comics events throughout 2026.
